Where Faith and Friendship meet the Mountains

There’s something sacred about quiet mornings, shared prayer, and the wide–open peace of Montana’s Bitterroot Valley.

Last month, a beautiful group of women from a local church gathered here at Burnt Fork Ranch for a ministry retreat—seeking rest, connection, and space to hear God’s voice.

What unfolded was more than a weekend away. It was renewed friendship, restored faith, and a gentle reminder that God’s presence is often felt most clearly in stillness— in every breeze, every sunrise, and every smile shared around the table.

Throughout their stay, the women enjoyed slow mornings, heartfelt conversations, and unhurried moments in nature.

They prayed together, laughed together, and let the Montana landscape hold them in its quiet embrace.

Their stories speak for themselves:

“I stayed at Burnt Fork Ranch over the weekend while attending a women’s retreat with my church. The Ranch provide such a calm and restorative setting, with open views and quiet corners that made it so easy to slow down, breathe, and rest.

The weekend was rejuvenating and inspiring as I connected with the other women, surrounded by such natural beauty. We are so lucky to have this in our backyard.”
Lyndsey

Lyndsey stayed in The Back 40 and described it as “amazing… well-stocked and so tastefully arranged.”

She shared how rejuvenating it was to connect with other women while surrounded by such natural beauty—adding that they’re all eager to return.

Another guest reflected on the spiritual impact of the environment:

“Burnt Fork Ranch allowed me to get away from the noise of everyday life and enjoy God’s presence in a beautiful setting. Both the natural surroundings and the carefully curated houses spoke to God’s amazing creation.”
Sarah

Her experience mirrors what so many groups discover here: that Montana’s quiet does more than refresh the mind—it restores the soul.

We were honored to host this uplifting gathering of grace, friendship, and reflection.

These retreats remind us why Burnt Fork Ranch exists: to offer a place where people can breathe deeply, reconnect with one another, and encounter the goodness of God in creation.

If your church or ministry group is seeking a place to pause, connect, and be renewed, we invite you to experience the very same Montana magic on your next retreat.

Burnt Fork Ranch is ready to welcome you.
